With a window.
Decide when a frame can be opened, how long a viewing session can last and which password grants entry.
Set the frame’s availability.
Use an access start and end time to define a review window. This is useful for a scheduled client demonstration, a prototype review or a limited evaluation. A frame’s plan expiry still applies, so a custom access window cannot extend an expired free link or replace an active subscription.
Limit each viewing session.
A session time limit controls how long a single remote viewing session may run. It is separate from the frame’s availability window and from the account’s monthly allowance. A shorter session limit can keep reviews focused and make shared viewing time easier to manage.
Choose reusable or one-time passwords.
A reusable viewer password suits a small group that needs to return to a frame. A temporary one-time password grants a single viewing session and can have its own expiry. Issue a separate credential for each intended session and send it separately from the preview link.
One-time access is a limit on starting a session, not a guarantee about who holds the password. Anyone who receives a valid credential may use it before its expiry. A viewer can still take screenshots or record visible content.
A reconnect is part of the same session.
A brief connection drop can reconnect to the same remote browser within Framevault’s configured grace period. It does not grant a new allocation of time or turn a one-time password into a reusable password. Once the session ends, a new one-time credential is needed to start another.
Review and adjust access.
Manage frame access from your workspace and review the session activity afterward. Administrators have additional operational controls across accounts and frames. Keep credentials private; activity records do not establish a visitor’s real-world identity.
Choose the right source boundary.
These controls apply to the Framevault preview. For frames created from a public website URL, the upstream website remains reachable under its own access rules. For uploads, the original build is kept out of viewer delivery. Neither mode makes visible work impossible to capture.
